No, the procedure is performed under local anaesthesic to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free. The only discomfort will be that of the local anaesthetic injection which lasts a few seconds .
For a physical job, you will need to take 2 weeks off work. For an office job, you are able to go back to work the next day.
Frenuplasty typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. It is performed under local anaesthetic as a walk-in, walk-out treatment. You’ll be able to go home shortly after the procedure.
